Sonny was engaged by the CEO of a national sports organization to review and improve its business strategy, organizational structure, and HR programs to better support its growth ambitions. The work included conducting a comprehensive assessment, identifying gaps, and developing a plan to address identified opportunities. Collaborating with key stakeholders such as the CEO, COO, CHRO, leadership team, and employees across functions and levels, Sonny worked with the client to design and implement changes to its strategic priorities, culture, structure, role designs, competency model, performance management, and compensation strategies. The outcome was a more effective organization, equipped with the right strategy, structure, and capabilities to advance its mission, vision, and values.
Two Fortune 500 companies were executing an ambitious merger. The client engaged Sonny to lead the development and execution of the change management strategy needed to effectively support its integration across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Sonny worked with the client’s business executives and HR leaders to plan and execute the actions needed to anticipate and manage the people implications of the change. The strategy employed a combination of leadership actions, HR interventions, and a coalition of global/local influencers to drive effective communications, engagement, training, and preparation. This approach resulted in reducing fear, increasing readiness, and creating a better Change experience for all.
A global industrial company, in the process of separating from its parent organization, engaged Sonny to envision and design its new purpose, values, organizational culture, and people strategy. Collaborating closely with the CEO and CHRO, Sonny led an inclusive process that involved employees across various levels and locations. This approach facilitated broad participation, incorporating shared values, diverse perspectives, and experiences. The work resulted in a new culture model and people strategy, which were owned and activated by the individuals within the newly independent company, positioning it for success in its digitally-focused future.
